Qualifies graduates to teach theory and practice in the Young Lifeguard, Pool Lifeguard and Sea Lifeguard courses, and to head a rescue station. Held at the BRC base in Sozopol over five days.
Held in Sozopol. Register in person at the BRC Regional Council office in Varna (3 Bratya Shkorpil St); after approval by the BRC National Council, Water Rescue department, you are directed to the Sozopol base.
1Candidate requirements
- Senior Lifeguard qualification.
- Recommendation from the local BRC Regional Council.
- Higher pedagogical education, or teaching practice in swim instruction.
- Individual accident insurance for the duration of the course.
- Medical certificate confirming fitness for swimming and diving.

Final exam
- Written test — 30 questions.
- Delivering a theoretical/methodological demonstration lesson.
